The Role: 
Grass Valley is looking for a Cloud Solutions Technical Account Manager to demonstrate industry leading customer service and provide innovative solutions that help to resolve our customer’s various broadcasting challenges.
GV TAM works collaboratively with our end-user technical and business teams. The TAM serves as a strategic resource to help our customers plan for success and optimize their technical investment in our cloud solutions.
GV TAM provides proactive guidance based on a solid understanding of your business operations and goals, and your unique technical environment. GV TAM provide industry best practices and a wealth of knowledge for our current and future cloud solutions and services.
GV TAM also monitors active and historical case trends to pass along insights and best practices. Our TAM highlights opportunities to optimize your current deployments and recommend other products that would complement your existing solution.
The main responsibilities: 
  •  Orchestrate the onboarding experience, with a focus on adoption and support.
  • Streamline engagements with GV technical delivery teams and product teams.
  • Anticipate the technical impact of changes through mitigation techniques and best practices accumulated from previous delivery experience.
  • Mitigate risk by identifying critical path items and ensuring remediation plans are executed.
  • Maximize ROI in GV products and services.
  • Orchestrate the technical value across GV offerings.
  • Advocate for and drive technical issues to resolution and provide updates.
  • Plan regular proactive operational reviews with team members to discuss key areas
  • Represent and advocate for future needs during GV product lifecycle planning.
  • Collaborate with the GV System Team (or other groups within GV) to understand technical impacts and readiness to ensure the success of GV solutions.
  • Prepare Business performance reports on operational metrics and coordinate with customer technical leads to review progress.
Minimum qualifications: 
  •  5+ years’ experience in working with Cloud Solutions
  • Degree qualified or equivalent combination of skills and experience in the Broadcast Industry
  • Previous customer facing experience as a technical lead/TAM
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Presentation skills: equally good with both large and small audiences
  • Knowledge of Broadcast Video and Audio formats.
  • Knowledge of Storage Systems (HDD, SSD, NAS, Cloud Storage…)
  • Working knowledge of server-based applications and computer networking
  • Exposure to computing security concepts/best practices
  • Knowledge on & with IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools
  • Solid cloud technology knowledge (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (Preferred))
  • Deep understanding of one or more of the following areas:
    • Access/Transport/Core network analytics and troubleshooting
    • IP/MPLS/SR Network protocols and architectures
    • Understanding of Intent Based Networking
    • Network operations automation
    • RAN engineering process automation
    • Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNFs), microservices
    • Data Warehouse, Big Data and advanced analytics solutions
    • On-prem Data Lakes, Cloud solutions in public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure)
    • AWS understanding of DevOps, DataOps and MLOps
