Hardware Quality Engineer

Our vacancy
The Hardware Quality Engineer supports the efforts of the organization to ensure we maintain expected quality levels across the full lifecycle of our products; he/she will work together with the production department where your responsibilities are securing and improving the quality of the camera products and the production process.

Responsibilities – Key Accountabilities:

• You perform quality checks on incoming and to be shipped camera products and assemblies.
• You evaluate camera products according to technical drawings and product specifications.
• You perform functional and visual checks and verify dimensions.
• You register and report deviations and complaints.
• In consultation you solve problems with deviations of products, processes or instructions.
• You carry out product audits.
• You train assembly staff.
• You initiate initiatives for continuous improvement.
• You perform statistical calculations and provide data for LEAN stand-up meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• You have experience or affinity with working in an assembly department/clean room (fine mechanics).
• You have experience or affinity with quality standards (e.g. ISO, AQL).
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required
• Computer literacy with various software programs, including Microsoft tools, Data reporting software (JIRA, SFDC).
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork oriented
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility as a team player by dealing with adverse human and technical situations.

Working Conditions:
Availability to work irregular hours, on weekends and after regular working hours if required
Ability to travel to internal and external manufacturing facilities, vendor or customer sites;
Typical travel is occasional with duration of one (1) week or less.
