The Role:
Our Senior Solutions Architects help customers succeed in implementing Grass Valley Agile Media Processing Platform (AMPP) workflows. Our team of architects use their deep knowledge of elastic tools and products while partnering with Sales and Engineering teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of GV AMPP services. Making customer success a reality is our “every day” and our teams deliver to enable customers to innovate by leveraging the power behind the GV AMPP Platform.
The main responsibilities:
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and design sessions with customers to create world-class solutions proposals build on AMPP technology
- Facilitate and document Field Trials (Proof of Concepts) in the customer’s network with Grass Valley products and solution value streams. Document current state, identify and missing features, leading to a Business Case for change.
- Provide customers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to maximize their operation on the AMPP platform
- Build deep relationships with our customers senior technical people to enable them to be AMPP advocates.
- Efficiently and reliably provide architectural guidance on running applications on the AMPP platform
- Regularly report progress using provided tools to ensure accurate and up to date information is available to key stakeholders.
- Support business planning, Go to Market offerings, and enterprise technology strategies
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AMPP solutions architects and wider Grass Valley teams
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers, as required.
- Provide VOC Engagement and Market Intelligence for Grass Valley
- Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive development
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of the AMPP platform
- Ensure timely and effective support is provided to the Sales team during all pre-sales activities in alignment with the company targets
- Develop and deliver solution designs respecting customer and vertical demands by demonstrating the relevance of the recommended solutions
- Ensure recommended solutions contain appropriate level of voice of customer and intelligence gathered from customer engagements to support the development of a commercial business case for change
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors or Advanced Degree Preferred relevant to the role or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications:
- 7+ years’ experience working within the broadcast and/or Media & Entertainment space, ideally within an international organization
- 3+ years’ experience leading and/or working with the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures supporting cloud-based workflows
- Proven track record performing a role within the M&E space, ideally within an international organization
- Direct experience in the architecture of Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud and DevOps platforms
- Cloud certifications preferred, such as:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
- AWS Architect Certification
- Azure Fundamentals
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
