The Role
The candidate will provide SAP functional analysis, SAP Project support, SAP solution architecture specifically in the "Order to Cash" (SAPSD/MM) area and general SAP support. The candidate will work cross-functionally across other team members and internal/external partners. Working with SAP Version: ECC 6 EHP4/EHP8.
Your responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for SAP ECC 6.0 system in the O2C (SDMM) area by resolving change requests and malfunction/incident tickets.
Discuss business requirements with the Business Process Owners and Key Users and provide satisfying SAP systems solution with the aim to adhere to SAP standard solutions.
Write/assist in the drafting of functional specifications files.
Responsible to implement procedures and standards to improve operational efficiency, monitor compliance, and mitigate risks to achieve team results.
Assist Team Manager by providing right SAP solutions for various business requirements in the "Order-To-Cash" business processes using standard SAP solutions and knowledge.
Create awareness in the business platform/units of standard SAP functions to maximize the SAP usage.
Ensure optimal availability of SAP functions are continuously aligned with business requirements.
Support test processes and user training for SAP O2C (SDMM) business process area.
Support optimization of management reporting processes with respect to SAP.
Support service level management processes [based on internal SLA with the business]
Support lifecycle management for SAP SDMM.
Be a project manager for small SAP and other projects in the O2C business process area.
Be the main IT counterpart to liaison with the O2C business process owners and Key users for finding system solutions.
Provide support on integrations between systems using middleware (Boomi) processes as well for finding and implementing correct integration solutions with the ERPs and associated applications.
Share and support SAP by providing training and sharing SAP knowledge and skills.
Prepare documentation following our standards. If needed, prepare functional specifications and have the necessary ABAP or otherwise developments with the help of our outsourced development staff.
Ensure effective working relations within the IT team and with external resources.
Understand the fundamental concepts of ERP software and middleware
What you’ll need to be successful
The ideal candidate will meet the following competencies/qualifications:
A University Computer Science or Business Commerce degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of functional experience with the emphasis on implementation and support of SAP ECC 6.0 application in a trading and manufacturing environment of an organization.
Experience with intercompany processes and multiple ERP environments.
Experience in quality, processes between projects and maintenance and support.
Experience in training and coaching other team members.
Proven track record in designing and implementing SAP SDMM functional solutions.
Demonstrate successful track record in supporting Sales and Distribution, Purchases & Manufacturing business processes.
Proven track record in Project Management relating specifically to system implementation.
Familiar with project life cycle, agile methodology, SCRUM, ITIL.
Familiar with integrations with other systems using EDI, middleware or any other applications.
Working with a third-party form designer is advantageous/desirable.
Working knowledge of SAP P2P (Procure-To-PayMaterial Management) and P2M (Plan-To-ManufactureProduction Planning) is advantageous/desirable.
Ability to develop successful cross functional relationships on an international basis.
Demonstrate good communication skills, should be able to engage with all levels in the organization (also cross functional – business & IT) both verbally and in writing.
Leadership, autonomy and thoroughness.
Business level English is essential.
Ability to work with different cultures and time zones.
