The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated UI developer. You will be a member of a team that are developing applications for Densité modular XIP-39xx platform in Processing team. Our teams build and maintain projects from inception to launch, including bug fixes, new features development and re-factoring. You will be joining a team of creative, dynamic humans that work together to redefine what’s possible in the broadcast industry, and continually push for excellence.

You will participate in Agile development environment.

The main purpose of the job is:

• Be a member of the team responsible for developing user interfaces for Densité modular XIP-39xx platform
• To establish and maintain best practices for UI development in Typescript and React/Redux.
• Contribute towards the implementation of new or innovative technical solutions to client requirements or issues
• Plan and participate in all the software development steps
• Investigate and plan maintenance work like refactoring or rewriting existing parts of the product to reduce technical debt
• Support and adjust internal team processes and work to support execution of the company objectives
• Stay up to date with latest technologies

What you will need to be successful

• 2 years’ + experience in software design of user interfaces.
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Very good communication skills
• Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience  
• Attention to detail, analytical mind set, being proactive and can work on own initiative.
• Proven record of working with Typescript, JavaScript, React and Redux.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional multi-site teams, including hardware engineers, QA engineers, and project managers
• Proficient skills with tools used in software development lifecycle (Git, Bitbucket, Jira)

Additional skills and experience

• Knowledge about any other programming language is an advantage
• Experience with writing unit tests using Jest
• Knowledge about monorepos
• Linux shell scripting is an advantage
